Beaumaris Wander
For our first morning away we took a windy stroll through Beaumaris town.
The Castle Gardens is a must visit. Venturing through an arched doorway hidden between shops and at the end of a dark passageway, you emerge into a secret garden with paths winding each way. There were lots of different plants/flowers in a variety of colours – I was particularly impressed with the range of Salvia (“Hot Lips”) plants they had on display.
The RNLI station by the pier was running a car boot sale and giving out flags – that were going down well with the day’s high winds.
