A day trip to Monserrat took us first to the Bodegas Torres (Torres Wine Cellars).

The excursion included a tour of the vineyards and wine making process followed by a tasting of two Torres wines – Viña Esmeralda and Gran Coronas. Both wines are very drinkable…

The winery is located in Vilafranca del Penedès in the Penedès wine region.
