Two Walks in Clocaenog Forest

Pincyn Llys, Clocaenog Forest

Time to fit a couple of short forest walks in before a late lunch out. Clocaenog Forest was on the doorstep, let’s go!

First up was Pincyn Llys, parking at a tiny car park in the middle of nowhere and walking up to the monument on the hill. Unfortunately, a circular walk was out of the question as the path became too narrow. Back the way we came!

To give our backs a rest, we visited Bod Pertyal, a pram-friendly walk that follows a well-maintained, forest road. We stopped for a little while on a picnic bench overlooking the lake on the way back to the car.
