Ambleside & Loughrigg Fell

The first day of our 2 week Lakes escape had us walking from our apartment in Ambleside to Loughrigg Fell and back, via Todd Crag & Lily Tarn.

The views looking down Lake Windermere were spectacular & we could clearly see the apartment & the Roman Fort down below. Lily Tarn looked deep & we sat for a while watching the neon blue/green dragonflies darting about above the water.
