New Precipice Walk, Llanelltyd, Wales [18/10/2016]

New Precipice Walk Another recommendation took us to a hidden car park in Llanelltyd, near Dolgellau, to ascend through the forest to the New Precipice Walk. It took about 2 hours to reach the beginning of the Precipice. Once there the views down the Mawddach Estuary to Barmouth were stunning.

Harlech Castle We visited Harlech Castle on a recommendation and it made for a pleasant afternoon. The views from the top of the walls are far and wide, but coupled with a strong wind and no safety barrier the experience can be pretty hair raising.

Lover’s Walk A tree-lined ridge either side of farmland on a sunny October morning, the Lover’s Walk is an alternate route to Bala from the small village of Llanfor.
