After upgrading the camera I was amazed by the clarity of the macro shots I could capture, so I hoovered up as much of the Summer wildlife I could find.

The last stop of the day was to Ennerdale Water in Ennerdale (not Emmerdale!).
Our mini tour of North West Cumbria took us to Whitehaven where we walked around the harbour.
A trip to Gosforth, Cumbria wasn’t complete without ice creams on the beach at Seascale.
Eager to get out and shoot some of Mother Nature’s offerings with the new lens, we headed to Risley Moss in Warrington for a short walk with lots of tame Dragonflies!
After a week skiing the slopes of Nassfeld, Hermagor, Austria, we had a few hours before our flight to explore the city of Salzburg.
The first weekend after the excess of Christmas was met with a 10-mile circuit of Ffrith Mountain, Flintshire, taking in Loggerheads, Offa’s Dyke and Jubilee Tower atop Moel Famau.
